Cid uploaded two photographs, one with this date in the filename and the other showing this day's coordinates on both a scrap of paper and a GPS unit. He linked the first to the main page gallery for January 1st, and also reported his success on the Ciudad de México, México graticule page. Despite the absence of a further expedition report, it is clear that he succeeded in the expedition, so I have written this report for him.
