Narrative

I arrived to Tampere in early afternoon for a holiday. My place of stay was on the shore of lake Näsi and I was amazed to learn that the hashpoint had landed only 1,5 km walk from there.

It had been freezing for a week and the ice was very safe to walk on. There were dozens of people enjoying the sunny afternoon by walking and skiing. The favorite destination for many was the nearby Siilinkari islet.

My room wasn't ready, so I left my luggage in the luggage room and walked to two geocaches on the islands and this hashpoint. Later it turned out that this was actually the last day of the spring for a nice walk on ice. Afterwards the temperatures rized above freezing point.
