Expedition
Mr.Grimmig and fivetonsofflax decided to go to this hashpoint near Spiesheim, which is a small village close to Alzey. We went to Albig by train and walked from there. While we were crossing the town, a little boy jumped on the street and was almost hit by a car. Fortunately, the driver stepped on the brake soon enough, so the kid only had to endure a lot of scolding by a crowd of adults that started to gather. It was probably the event of the day there.
We left Albig and started to approach the hashpoint using field paths. There was mostly wheat, cabbage and wine. We preferred the vineyards for two reason: They could be crossed without doing any damage to the plants and there were many little refuges for the farm workers.
The hashpoint was in the middle of a wheat field, but we could go there without trampling down any plants as there were narrow ruts we could follow. From there, we went to Spiesheim and since we were too lazy too walk all the way back, we called someone from Alzey to pick us up.
