Expedition

Manu and I spent the day in Erfurt (at Reinhard's family) and liked the hash being located in a forest not too far from Erfurt. We planned to conduct today's expedition without crossing our own tracks to apply for the Tron achievement.

So we started cycling from Erfurt in the afternoon, following the track we uploaded to our Garmins and hoping never to get in a dead end. At one point there was a construction place that we could easily go through (even cars did that, though it was forbidden by a traffic sign). 2.5 km before we arrived at the hashpoint, we had to leave paved roads and continued on dirt road with rocks that luckily didn't pierce my road bike tyres. The last 20 m were straight into the wood. There's a small loop in the tracklog, but this one is due to GPS signal drifting. After taking some photos, eating hash cookies ;-) and showing the surroundings to Ratti, the Little Foxi and Ritchie we continued 40 m through the wood to an other forest track on which we continued our ride to the nearest villlage Burgtonna. From there we took roads back to Erfurt that lay south of the ones we used for our journey there. We managed to reach my home from the street's other end, thus it became a flawless 68 km Tron ride.
