What an adventure! Fi and Kieran headed out, Fi dropped out, Acajou joined in, we held a newborn lamb, spent a couple of hours hiking, and got within thirty metres of the hash point.
Update: I think we were retro hashing, or something, because the coords displayed to the side and the place we went to are radically different. Groan, it was so long ago, I can't remember which days coords we were trying to reach... --Kieran 06:26, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Expedition
The first attempt. Fi and Kieran headed out to find the hash point. The map placed it just off a road in a pine plantation.
Turning off the sealed road, onto mud tracks, on a wet day, in a two wheel drive with bugger all clearance, what could go wrong?
The street sign points us to the Morgan Creek pine plantation.
This plantation was logged after parts were damaged in the 2009 bushfires.
We ascended quite a height in pursuit of the hash point
There had been some tree fall in the recent storms
Eventually we realised we'd taken a wrong turn. Unfortunately there was no where to turn around safely, so we kept driving. After a 35km round trip we ended up were we started.
Fi didn't want to go again, so realising that Acajou's farm was nearby we went for coffee and a chat. Acajou introduced us to some newborn lambs:
Last night the sheep gave birth
So Acajou thrust one in Fi's arms
And one in Kierans.
As it happened Acajou was up for a fresh attempt at the Hash point, so back up the hill Acajou and Kieran went. Going in the right direction this time, we were eventually forced to walk.
The tree that stopped us
So we walked to Birti road
And gave up at this point, over that road side are brambles, and thirty metres or so into those brambles was the hash point
