Euterkuh and fivetonsofflax are planning to go to Maxau station by train, then go to a spot near Hofgut Maxau that's on the western side of the lake and very close to the island. They want to swim the distance of approx. 30 meters to the island and find the hashpoint there.
Fivetonsofflax has read Wikipedia's article about Hypothermia and has come to the conclusion that maybe this wasn't such a good idea. So unless someone goes there with a boat, this expedition is cancelled.
