The hashpoint was inside the Würzburg city limits, I was home early and the weather was great, so I decided to walk. And after the bicycle tron the day before yesterday I wanted to try a walk tron. I set out and walked along the northern edge of my urban quarter Grombühl, past the university hospital (oh, by the way: happy hashiversary srs0! and thepiguy, too, of course) and through Versbach. There I found a cat sitting on a wall, which liked to be petted, but was not near enough to the hashpoint to count as a hashcat. I continued and soon I was near the hashpoint. It was about 15 metres into a field. I walked along the border between two fields for a few metres, then I walked between the rows of plants. My GPS suddenly showed "battery low, shutting down, to cancel press ESC", but before I found the ESC button it turned itself off. I had spare batteries with me, but I saw two people with a dog coming down the field track towards the hashpoint and I didn't want to get any strange looks or even strange questions, so I quickly took my other GPS unit, walked a few metres more, took pictures, went back to the field track and continued my walk in the direction away from the people, as I had planned for the tron achievement. Next to the IKEA a medium-sized black dog came trotting towards me, its owner with two little children far behind. I thought "hashdog!" and took a picture before it reached me. It was very trusting and sniffed at my knee, so I petted it a few times. Then I walked along the field track first to Versbach and then back home.
I walked 4.7 + 5.3 = 10 km.
Danatar earned the Hashdog Ribbon
