Expedition

A geohash in Yvoire! This is all Crox needed to take the afternoon off and organise a trip across the lake.

We met at the lakeside to take the boat at 14:45 and reached Yvoire at 15:07 as planned. After taking a few pictures we headed directly to the hash, and were happy to find a pedestrian path leading us directly from the entrance door in the medieval city wall to the hash.

After leaving the coordinates we went to have some crêpes and spent the rest of the afternoon visiting the village.

We took the 17:30 boat back to Nyon which happened to be the paddle steamer Rhône.

The hash location itself may not have been very exciting but we definitely spent a nice afternoon. The only regret would be that we didn't take more pictures of the city to share them here...
