As I finished copying up the Most Active page this morning, I clicked on the map for the Atlanta graticule. I was hoping that it was somewhere close. Well, it wasn't. It is in the very south part of the graticule. But that does mean that it will be close to where I work here in this Graticule.
I clicked on the upper part of the map for it to change to the Roswell graticule and the pointer lands on Acworth. Acworth is about 5 miles from where I work. I zoom in on the make to make sure that it is accessible and sure enough, it is.
This one is close enough that I could do it at lunch time. 10 minutes there and 10 minutes back.
I drive the 5 miles out to the hash spot and park in the lot that is next to it. I park with 99 feet to go. I walk the remaining part through some trees to the hash spot.
I take a few pictures and then write a big XKCD in the dirt. I was hoping that someone might be able to see it before it is wiped away by rain. I am hopeful but know, probably not.
I then drive back to work.
