About
Another virgin graticule, too far away from public transport routes, so I recruited my sister (and her car).
Expedition
The hash was (as expected) in the middle of some field, around 60 km away from my home city. To make it worthwile we decided to go and see every possible point of interest on the way. And it worked - the expedition was full of fun and exploring!
First stop - Krupe - and the ruins of the castle from XVI century (it was burned down by Swedish army a hundred years later and has never fully recovered). The place still looks great, altough is not guarded and a little vandalised.
Second stop - hash! The local road was so bad, we were afraid we won't make it, but somehow the car survived. We found the correct field (being watched by locals trough the windows), made few pictures. We had plans for a picnic achievement, but it was too wet to put a towel on the ground, so instead we ate while standing (picture provided below).
Third stop - mysterious tower/grave in Krynica. It's most probably the resting place for Paweł Orzechowski, founder and the first owner of the Krupe Castle we visited few hours before. Orzechowski was an arian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_Brethren) - member of Polish Protestant Church. It's very unique, as it has a pyramide on top - probably connected to the free masonry in some way or another. And once again - the place is hidden in the dense forest, not guarded and sadly vandalised.
Anyway - another virgin graticula conquered, another nice expedition and adventure!
