Location

Inside the crossing between Bundesstraße 43 (A-road) and the motorway A5. It is located at the north east corner of Frankfurt airport and there at the north east corner of Gateway Gardens, a former US military residential area. US forces left in 2005 and since then the old buildings have been demolished and is now a urban district of Frankfurt/Main.

Go there in the afternoon and find a couple of Geocaches afterwards.

Expedition

As I didn't want to end up in the dark and had to do it after leaving work I went by car and parked nearby (about 500 m). Reaching the connection road I did check if I could cross it without endangering anybody. Fortunately I could see far enough and could cross the road safe and easily. Inside the crossing the hash was at a small tree on unspectacular grasland. As it was getting dark already the pictures are quite bad.  :-(

After the hash I went for two nearby Geocaches:

• GCR6T0 - found (this is a really nice one! - even for people waiting at Frankfurt airport having to kill some time)
• GC292CK - found
