Surprisingly enough, this is another field hash next to a suburb of Gotha. Welcome to Thuringia. ;)

Awww rubbish, didn't see the expedition page until it was too late. Will try to reach the hash tonight after work to get the consecutive*4. Will probably be the last in the row though as the one tomorrow is too far out :(

Started at Erfurt at ~23:30, which was a bit short for driving. We followed the car gps unit which promptly led us to one of the streets near the hash, where we got stuck in "city planning"- someone thought blind alleys made good housing areas due to little traffic, whereas I started swearing.

When arriving on some dirt road, we followed along, completely covering the recently cleaned car in mud until the street looked like it needed a tractor to go on. We got out with 730m to walk and then realized, just 20m on, that the road actually was perfectly drivable. Walked on, nevertheless

Since it was rather chilly this dragged on a bit, also Yakamoz was rather unhappy about being in the middle of a muddy field in the middle of the night and with non-hashing boots. At some point we arrived at a small bridge over a little river. On the other side of the river young trees were fenced in, but there was a path onto the field and we walked along the fence till we got near the hashpoint. Walked ~30m into the field and took the screenshots. Due to being tired and the temperature being rather uninviting, we went back to the car quickly. It definitely was a frozen hash, looking at the frozen grass and -3°C showing in the car's AC display (switched to -2°C just when we took the photo). Apart from that, we had a nice full moon and fell asleep rather fast after arriving home later.

Right, same day, 17 hours later. Took the train from Erfurt main station to Gotha and started walking. Dusk settled in while I was walking so I reached the hash in darkness. Took a couple of photos and screenshots and headed back to the station to take the next train back. Back at home shortly after 9pm.

Total distance: 10.2km according to the tracklog. And a couple of blisters according to my feet. Gotta keep working on the perfect hash shoes.
