Reinhard went on this quick evening ride starting few minutes to 7 pm from Cospeda. He was alarmed by Juja's report that it could be seriously cold in clear September nights, so he decided to start with short clothes, but take everything that could be warming into his backpack (also including winter gloves). For the one-hour trip to the hashpoint, which was in Bad Berka, short clothes were still sufficient, but at the hash, he decided to put some more things on and enjoyed the comfortable feeling in the hour it took him to get back. The route itself was easy as it was identical to one half of the route between Jena and Erfurt that Reinhard has ridden more than 200 times in the last 8 years. To get to the hashpoint, Reinhard had to leave the road in Bad Berka and get on on a gravel path for 400 m, from where it was 5 m into a meadow.
