Fasanen's Expedition
Today is exactly 100 years since Roald Amundsen reached the south pole. Fasanen celebrates that by going to a less hard to get position - the geohash in Blentarp. Before leaving home for work at 06.20, he goes into the tool shed to arrange a stick to plant at the geohash.
Fasanen arrives Blentarp at 06.45 and parks his modern version of a dog sledge just 50 meters from the geohash which is in a small piece of woodland in the central part of Blentarp. He quickly locates the position and plants the stick. It’s dark and his mobiles do not excel in taking low light photographs so he just takes a few shots, leaves the place and continues for work in Lund. It’s one and a half hours before sun rise...

Llavids's Expedition
Found out that it would take an hour back and forth to the geohashe, so I loaded the car with coffee and sandwiches so that I could have lunch in the car while driving to the geohashe. Started out at 12.00 and reached the coordinates at 12.30. Took some photos, didn't notice Fasanens marker (duh!). The children at a kindergarten was outside singing Christmas carols nearby, but I didn't have time to stop by, but returned back home for more work instead.
