Expedition
This weekend Reinhard took his winter bike to Erfurt, where he wanted to clean it, since during the winter it became dirty as a piece of geohash. Saturday morning the sun was shining and Reinhard wasn't yet keen on cleaning his bike, but instead preferred to cycle to the hashpoint in Gotha, which promised to be reached very easily, and thought the bike was still clean enough for visiting Gotha. 100 m after he left home, Reinhard again noticed the squeaking of his dry chain, but decided it was too late for turning around and spending an oil drop. Some kilometers later he wasn't any longer sure it was the right decision concerning noise exposure and friction losses ... Nevertheless, he quickly got to Gotha, mainly using the federal road B7 and found the hash where he expected it. Procter, who insisted on joining the expedition after his friend Wischi succeeded in the preceding one, jumped out of Reinhard's jersey for the hash pictures before Reinhard turned around this time using light traffic roads through Seebergen, Wandersleben and Neudietendorf. Less than two hours after their start the two hashers were back in Erfurt, on time for lunch.
