We started this expedition expecting not to reach the point but the trip would be fairly short compared to our normal hashes so it was worth it. Upon arrival at the closest available parking point we observed an officer sitting in his car. We reconfirmed that we were indeed on the public property portion of the airport and proceeded to the fence line to take our picture of the point. As was expected it wasn't long before the officer came over and asked us what we were doing, he declined our ambassador paperwork but gave us the memorial question "Do you come here often?". Now it should be said that this is probably one of the best spots to watch the airplanes take to the sky and return to the land. We snapped the pictures of our failure and returned home.
