We'll saunter out there at about 16:00, provided r007 gets back to Saarland in time. Since we currently have no available GPS, we may have to approximate to the best of our ability, but that should be about as good as GPS accuracy for this particular hash.

Expedition

So, at precisely 16:00, we started off. Today's the hottest day of the year here, I estimate temperatures in excess of 35° C. So even the 10 minute walk got up quite a sweat. Not having a working GPS device, we used terrain knowledge and best guess estimates, comparison of which with Google Earth puts us within 15m of the actual spot, so I'll count it as a success. We marked the point and will go back for verification. We hung around for 10 minutes before the heat became too much, and we returned to Triqueon's for a beer.
