- Great, it's the second time that the geohash falls less than 500 meters from my former apartment. I'd be joining you, but I can't be sure due to my work schedule. So I think it will be two (three, if I manage) separate expeditions :( --Guga2112 07:53, 18 February 2013 (EST)
- i can't make it at all, since i have too much work to do today. sorry guys! --Chris 47 8 10:03, 18 February 2013 (EST)

Once again, the hashpoint had fallen in the city of Zurich, and once again it was in the Albisrieden district. Such an easy hash was a great chance to try out the Geohash droid at last.
Unfortunately, Chris was busy that day. Calamus wasn't surprised. The first day of semester meant a lot of work for everyone working at uni, even if they worked in research only. Calamus, however, was just barely able to get away in time to still see something.
As Calamus walked towards the hashpoint, a boy looking rather worn out approached him and asked him for a few coins in Italian with a strong Lombard accent. Beggars were a rare sight in Zurich, so Calamus took his time to converse with him. The boy had fled from Milan to Switzerland to find a job with a salary worth mentioning. Unfortunately he hadn't known that in Zurich, jobs weren't thrown after you and life was much more expensive, with monthly rent for a small apartment normally weighing as much as three times a normal month's salary in Italy (a fact Guga2112 confirmed the next day). Calamus hooked him up with a friend looking for affordable employees, who told him the next day he'd employed the boy right away and he was doing a great job.
A few minutes after the encounter, Calamus reached the hashpoint in a backyard. As he didn't want to loiter, he took a quick picture and returned to the street to upload it. It wasn't before the evening that he realised he hadn't set his camera to autotagging, so the picture bore the coordinates of the street. Well, he wasn't going to make that mistake again.

Okay, maybe I should have uploaded the last picture right from the hashpoint. Or enabled direct tagging.
