Having walked and taken the U-bahn trains around Nuremberg, it was a good time to take the family on a real DB train. Round trip to Feucht for 3 was just over 10 euros, and provided a view of the powdery countryside after this mornings heavy snow storm.

The worst was over and starting to melt as we pulled into Fuecht Ost. My US-based carrier's Android phone was barely ticking along, and I didn't get a solid satellite signal (or it didn't ignore the lack-of-cell signal) until after we walked past the hash point.

Backtracking slightly, we took the appropriate photos and then proceeded on to stroll through downtown Feucht. My original plan was to trek through to the Feucht station and return to Nürnberg Hbf, but with the snow on the ground it was decided to return to Feucht Ost, after lunch at Il Pomodore.

After three years of visits, I can finally claim a Nürnberg success!
