Since Mampfred couldn't really be bothered to skip his train home, "I've got volleyball on mondays and wednesdays"-guy, who we need to find a better (or at least, shorter) handle for, excitedly offered to come along. Much to excited to call it being dragged-along, for sure. The spot suited him rather well, since it was along his way home and fit into the volleyball timetable...
Expedition
We drove from work to Büßleben, dropping Mampfred at the railway station and parked on a rural road. We could have driven on a bit, but mysteriously, I was content with walking for once. We easily walked about a km on solid rural roads, then had about 250m into a frozen green cabbage field. Satellite fix usually is quite good in normal weather on a field (that's plains for you), so the hash dance was rather short, too. Took the photos, walked back to our cars and got on with our couch potato (me) and sports evening ("I've got volleyball on mondays and wednesdays"-guy). The only obstacle was fiddling with the gps and (mobile phone) camera, since both of us muppets had forgotten gloves and it was cold and windy.
