Shane noticed that the hash was a short distance from the friends we were visiting.
Expedition
Shane requested that the assembled company indulged him by going via Birse. As it turned out this was only a short diversion from the planned trip. After suitable playing with electronic devices, we set off in two cars. We were able to park at the gate to the field and walk the short distance in to the field. There was a tractor driving around the field, but the driver paid us little attention. After suitable photography, we went on to a delicious lunch at The Finzean Farm Shop Tearoom
