On my way home from Dresden I couldn't resist this hashpoint. I started at 8 a.m. and after needing 30 minutes to get out of Dresden, I soon left the Autobahn and followed the signs to Freiberg. It was early in the morning and the landscape was very nice. From Freiberg it was not very far to Mulda and Helbigsdorf. It wasn't easy to find a place to park the car without blocking any of the inhabitants' drives, but I found a spot at the side of the road and then walked along a small track towards the hashpoint. I passed some decaying buildings on my way, but then I was out in the open. There were forests, fields and meadows all around me, the air was fresh, though a little foggy, it was a nice moment. The hashpoint was in a meadow, only a few meters from a tiny creek. I didn't stay long, instead taking a more direct route back to the car.
My plan was to get back to the Autobahn quickly, but my navigation system sent me along more country roads. When one of the roads was closed for construction, I had to take a long detour, so that I reached Chemnitz before getting back on the Autobahn. From there I could easily continue to Würzburg, where I arrived at 13:15. Just in time for some last-minute preparations before my friends fetched me for a 3-day trip to the Allgäu.
