It remains to be seen whether this hash is actually reachable, or whether it is on private property. Is the Diako park open to the public?

This is one of the rare hashes located in the town where oliver lives, so he will try to get there in the afternoon. No specific time set yet (probably around 16:00h).

Being a bit sad that I won't have the time to go to Westerland, Sylt for the Saturday meetup today in (54,8), I'll try to join you tommorrow. I could be at Bremen Hbf at 15:05 and at Gröpelingen tram station at 15:33. Would this work out for you? -- pah

Gna, my train is 45min late. Will be at Bremen Hbf at around a quarter to four (eventually) and try to catch the next tram then. I'll add an update here, when I know which one this may be. :-( -- pah

Ok, now it's 65 minutes. There is an alternative train at 15:44 in Bremen, I could then be at 16:13 in Gröpelingen. Hope that you'll see this in time. -- pah

Expedition

Some parts of the story might be told by the pictures below. A detailed report will have to wait. But the short story is: Despite some traffic, timing and communication hindrances, oliver and me successfully met at the hash (or rather 50m before) this time!

Cycled to Gröpelingen tram station - waited - tried to get Wifi on phone - cycled around to find free hotspot - checked tram station - cycled a bit more to explore area - checked tram station - cursed myself for not having mobile internet so unable to get pah's news - cycled to hospital main entrance - entered park - met pah (!)

... we then walked over to the hashpoint which was pretty easy to find, and took some photos. Then walked back chatting, until pah took the tram to main station and I cycled home. A great geohash meetup with happy end!
