Today the hashpoint in our own graticule was certainly within reasonable distance, and even right beside the main highway, about 5 meters from it. So Pastori had to leave his household tasks, that is cutting the grass, chopping the firewood, stacking the wood etc. to the next day.
So he brought Wife along and went on his way. They drove about 18 km from home by car, and parked beside the road. The point was right beside them, but the high hedge of spruce trees prevented exact positioning. When standing in the same spot the distance varied from 10 meters to 0,6 meters, so I consider, that the reading of 4,699 meters grants us a successful geohash visit. I hope our Editor agrees with us. [Editor's note: He does.]
Pastori remains in waiting for some more challenging objectives in the forthcoming days. Because, after a couple of days Pastori and The Wife are going for a homeland trip for about a week and 1500 km, hoping to hit several different graticules. Stay tuned.
