Expedition

We drove down to Salem, but due to a mistake with the GPS nav system, we were first directed to the wrong part of town.

So we didn't arrive near the hash until about 7:30 PM. We parked at the nearby apartment complex, and tried to find a way to approach the hash from the east. We quickly discovered that the wooded area in which the hash was located was very overgrown with blackberry brambles. We pushed through to about 100m from the hashpoint, before the brambles got too thick to get through.

We worked our way back out through the brambles, and then tried to find an approach from the west, but we were only able to get to about 145m from the hashpoint from this direction.
