The snowing of wet snow was very thick, and the clouds even thicker. Note that the time is 9:54, and the Sun should be up. Yet it seems it's still almost dark.

It was a morning following a dark and a stormy night on the shores of the Baltic Sea. It was time for Pastori and The Wife to go home. The beginning of the journey went inside a snow storm, barely staying on the road. Luckily the weather got a bit better when approaching a hashpoint in yet unconquered graticule.

Detour from the main road was only 3,3 km, and the point was 103 meters from the smaller road. A suitable parking spot was easily found and then it was time to put the trusty Nokian's on. Over the ditch to a snowy, but very wet forest. The point was easily found despite the tall spruces within 1,6 meters of accuracy. There was barely enough daylight to take some photos with The Wife's camera, in the middle of the day at 12:30! The period of winter darkness is truly harsh in these parts of the world.

Little leg-flexing refreshed our journey nicely, and we continued to visit our granddaughter for a sleepover. Only tomorrow will we reach home to see how our house has done without it's inhabitants for a week.
