Hashpoint near the power line pole

Location

In the middle of a field between Schifferstadt and Waldsee.

DODO: It's only 8 KM from home and so I'll try to visit this location on my way to the office tomorrow morning. I hope to be there around 8 o'clock.

Q-Owl: I may be there around 2 o'clock pm. - No other time possible, sorry.

Expedition

DODO: Things went as planned. I started at 7:15 from home and arrived at the junction near the hp 20 minutes later. I staked my bull at the junction so it still can reach a tron achievement. As Q-Owl already mentioned the way to the hp was very muddy, but that didn't stop me from a quick walk into the field, a short hash dance (Q-Owl read the marks right) and some photos. As it was still dark, the photos are all nearly black. So sorry. When I came back to my bull, I noticed, that I've lost one of my gloves. So I walked back to the field but I didn't find my footprints again. I went to the hashpoint again, but the glove wasn't there.

Nevertheless I had to go to work and so I continued my ride with one cold hand. When I reached the river rhine, I took a wrong turnoff but I didn't want to turn around as this would have invalidated the tron achievement. So I switched to a forest path which lead me 150m to my planned route and then ran parallel to it. After a while I found a very small track that lead in the desired direction but I had to push the bull on it. And after another while, the track disappeared and I had push the 30 kg heavy bull through the forest (fortunately the forest wasn't very dense). Back on my way I soon reached the ferry and some 10 minutes later I was in the office.

Except for the walk on the field, where I staked the bull and the way into the factory site where I work (and out again of course), my way didn't cross, and so I think I can claim the tron (i pushed the bull for so hard).

Q-Owl: I took an 1.5 hour break at work, drove to Schifferstadt and stopped near the hashpoint. The hp lay on a fresh ploughed field. Good to wear boots.
Near the hashpoint I found some footprints: It looked like a short GPS dance. :-)
Having found the exact position quickly, I marked it on the ground, took some photos and went back to the car.
On the way home I found a big Hornbach hardware store, where I could buy an urgently needed tool which is only sold at Hornbach's.
