Depart Nürnberg on Bayern pass at 9:10, arriving München 11:01, then transfer to S 8 and arrive at Germering-Unterpfaffenhofen 11:48. Walk to Geohash, then local pub, then return to München via local game stores, and eventually return to Nürnberg.

Expedition

Bayern ticket in hand, I set out from Nürnberg. This time, I caught only local trains, as I was supposed to do. Arriving in München, I was waylaid by a shop. Figuring I had a few extra minutes to check something, I instead just missed my connection to the S8.

In seeking the next S8, I took other trains out towards Pasing - the last stop on the common line. Thus I could see a few stations I hadn't seen before and do much people watching. The S8 was on time (what German train isn't?) and I arrived at Germering-Unterpfaffenhofen.

A light rain or sleet began to fall, so I pulled up my hood for additional protection. The pedestrian and bike path was separated from the road by a very small hedge, and within that the geohashpoint was found. In between strikes of sleet on my Android screen, I managed to upload a very few pictures, and then headed back to the Bahn stop.

Only halfway there, the S8 headed the other direction zipped past, and I knew I had another 20 minutes to spend. This was used to check out a few local shops and walk down streets I didn't previously.

Next I returned to München and visited a local toy and game store, book store, and cafe to arm myslf for the return journey. This was made shortly after.
