Expedition

I told Gwynnath about 20 minutes before I planned to leave, and she was gung ho enough to join me that she got herself and Grace (not pictured) ready to go without holding me up.

And we were on the street at that time. I suppose I was hoping someone else would make the attempt as well, but alas it was not so.

We did a bit of circling about, as I wasn't immediately sure which side of the street the geohash was on, until I recognized the woods and driveway. It looks different from the ground, under a foot of snow.

The hashpoint was in the trees just off the driveway, but I wanted to come and go without a trace, once within the GPS's margin for error, I took my picture and then got out of the rain.

Being in Washington Township gave us an excuse to play Ingress on the way back. I was lucky to find an existing link between Branchburg and Flemington, made links down to both ends from a park on Naughright Rd., forming a huge control field.

Then we stopped in town, originally for coffee, at Long Valley Bagels, which has excellent THEC1 sandwiches.

All in all, a fine adventure was had by all!
