Since I didn't have any other plans for the morning I decided to visit this hashpoint. The evening before I had already looked up the train schedule so I set out at an opportune time and walked to the train station. At 09:42 I boarded the train which brought me to Iphofen at 10:06. From the train station I walked straight through the town center, past the medieval wall and the old gate. Not much later I was at Neubergstraße and one corner later I was at the hashpoint. It was just one step off the sidewalk. Sadly I didn't have any chalk with me to write a marker on the street. After taking pictures I walked back to the town center, this time taking another route through it. At one of the many wine shops (Iphofen is a locally famous wine town) I contemplated buying some wine but I had only 10 minutes left until the return train and still one kilometer to walk. So I went to the train station and returned to Würzburg with the 10:51 train.
This expedition took place on the day the 10000th expedition (including retrohashes) took place, although the exact count may change when more ninja expeditions are being reported. At the same time, it was my 200th successful (out of 222 total) expedition, yay!
