On Saturday I took part in an hitchhiking contest from Cottbus (Germany) to Pogorzelica (Poland). With my companion Max I made the 17th place. On Monday the last of us left the camping site and with the car of the race organizers I got a lift to Płoty. From there I started to hitchhike to Rymań.

I found a little village on the national road nr 6. I followed the hints of the GPS and found wider modern streets

and narrower old streets. Then the street moved into a field and forest way, which looked like those in Germany.

At the end of the houses I had a first view to the hash area. While I wondered about the Polish landscape I missed the junction for the way to the hash and walked too far on the first way. When I noticed this, I didn't walk back to the junction and tried to walk across the fields. But these fields were not in use. Only nettels, thistles and some grass growed there. Suddenly an animal rode up and away. I couldn't see it between the nettles, but it was loud yelping and sprang into the ditch and ran into the forest. Fox or wolf?

Then I crossed the ditch (here a little bit smaller than at the distance) and entered the meadow.

I followed a tractor mark across the meadow. At one place the grass became knee deep. Suddenly a deer sprang up and away. And I followed the tractor spur further. Then I left the spur to walk to the hash and again, or more, suddenly I was only two steps away of a deer's kid, hidden in the high grass, but I saw it from above. And I thought Don't touch. Don't disturbe. Don't take photo. Made some steps back and made a circle around this place.

I found the site, but I didn't want to make a dance. But looked around.

I didn't feel happy.

In the forest I tried to make a small picnic, but again I felt unhappy. And another fox or wolf yelped in the forest. And I fled the place.
