After a rainy night the sun rose to see a sky with scattered clouds and no rain. They continued towards a hashpoint in the graticule 65 25. As they were nearing the point on a bumpy forest road, the car's underside was touching the ground and as the point was still another 1,5 km away, Pastori decided to give up.
But, full of hope, Pastori headed towards the next graticule and lo and behold, the point was ridiculously easy to reach. By car they got as near as 30 metres and they walked on a field the rest of the way and managed an accuracy of 0,177 metres. After the efforts of the day, Pastori and Wife were happy to get at least one of the points they had reserved for today. This graticule was a new achievement for them out of all the graticules in Finland.
Tomorrow Pastori has set his sights on no less than three hashpoints and one of them lies in Rovaniemi. Attention! IsoPekka, Pastori and Wife will be at the point at around noon.
