Expedition
The northern graticules of Finland are uninhabited wilderness with hardly any roads. Because of this, Pastori and Wife set out to try to reach the next hashpoint, because on this very day it seemed to be reachable. So they drove about 80 kilometres and disembarked to carry on by foot in the forest along the river Ounasjoki where, after a few squiggles and going around a couple of ditches, they reached an accuracy of 0,899 metres. This far up north the forest berries are still unripe but Pastori managed to find one delicious specimen for Wife. The bloodthristy mosquitoes caught the best catch of the day, yet again. They will be here again tomorrow, because Pastori and Wife are planning on trying to reach no less than 4 hashpoints on their way home. But it still won't beat the trio in Austria, 10 hashpoints, WOW!
