Expedition

Departed for the 25 minute drive and arrived around 2pm. Realised there direct closest path from the road was accross the Raging River, which turns out, lived up to it's name, there was no way I was crossing that without being extremely skilled in white water rafting. We followed the road further down and it crossed over the river, requiring that we trek back up alongside the river. Hayden followed me a hundred meters or so before it got too wet / muddy / swamp-like. I continued on, soaked my shoes. Turns out there was an easier bath that more tightly followed the river that I went along on the way back. I continued along the made-out path along-side the river (I think there must be other outdoors-y people that come here, there were ribbons on trees all around). I had to walk along some rocks, duck under some thorns, before I finally hit a dead end. To go back up to higher ground, there were thick thorns and I did not have clothing fit to deal with that (just jeans and a hoodie), to continue alongside the river I would have to climb a steep muddy cliff that falls off straight into the river, and I did not want to loose my phone, my keys, or my life. So with 60 meters to go until the geohash, I called it quits and thus concluded my second unsuccessful geohash.

Here is a link to a video I took of the "Raging River" (as it is named).
