I found that the hash was positioned about 2 km from the hash I had visited in Kleineichen. Luckily, as two days before, there was a train station in the vicinity. From there it would be about 800 m to the hash. I would take the RB 11554 at 16:24 from Köln Hauptbahnhof, arriving 16:43 in Rösrath. After a short walk I'd see the house, musing what to do if I had to enter the garden...

Expedition

I took the RB 11554 as planned. Inside was a display that showed that the train would drive to Rösrath-Stümpen. I left the train at the right time in Rösrath-Stümpen... and found myself puzzled: the exit had been on the wrong side, even the street I had planned to use wasn't there. Had Rösrath been transformed? No, I simply had left the train too early: "Rösrath" (without Stümpen or anything else) would have been the next station. But I was only 200 m farther from the hash as with my original plan. So, as you may think, I jogged.

Then I reached the house. From the sidewalk it was a distance of 27 m to the hash. That could be in the garden itself or behind the house... I thought of trying the ambassador achievement but at first I wanted to check the place out. On the map I had seen that a small path was in the back so I walked around the block. And yes, the hash was there. Well, another easy one.
After taking some photos I walked to the real Rösrath station, one of the most desolate stations I have seen in the past.

Some days later I read in a newspaper that it is planned to modernize 35 train stations in the NRW region for 161.8 million Euros in the next years. I hope, Rösrath will be among them.
