Expedition
Pastori and Wife are on their way to the capital area to celebrate the second birthday of their granddaughter. And of course, since they are enthusiastic geohashers, they had to check possible hashpoints that might be along the way. And lo and behold, there were two points that were possible for them to reach and both of them happened to be on a road. So off they went in the cool +5 degrees of the morning and with a light summer rain coming down. After an hour and a half of driving the sun was up and shining on the minds and bodies of the travellers, actually a little too much as the temperature rose up to +27 degrees. After driving for 178 km they went a little off the way to see if the dirt road up to the hashpoint would be okay to drive on. And hurray, it was, and Pastori managed to maneuver the car to the hashpoint at an accuracy of 0.6 m. Easy as rolling off a log. They drove back to their original route and thus made a detour of about 20 km. After a successful lunch (they enjoyed fish with an almond crust and some cauliflower soup) they went off to the next hashpoint challenge.
