When the points came out on Friday, I didn't think much of this hash until I remembered it was Geohashing Day. I was going to be in Buffalo in the morning and thought I could drive up to this hash and attempt to get a new ribbon before going home.
The Non-Expedition
Getting up early, I got ready to go to the 3rd annual SkyRide where cyclists can ride over the Skyway (one of the thruways out of Buffalo). It was really cool and I signed up for the longer ride option of 25 miles so after the Skyway section, we rode through the city and back to RiverFest park for the post-ride party. The food was the best I've ever had at an event. There were lots of Vegetarian options too. The spinach salad was very fresh, there was BBQ'd chicken and pulled pork sandwiches, hummus wraps, and edamame salad too. So good, and we also got a free beer. After eating, I met up with some friends at a local Pub/Brewery downtown. After second lunch, I drove home and upon sitting down on the couch, I realized I had forgotten to make an attempt on the hash. Oops...I was exhausted from my ride and I decided I really didn't want to drive the 40 minutes to the hash, especially if I didn't know for sure if it would be posted or not(the Google street view is from 2011). So I played some video games instead.

I didn't take any pictures(not allowed to on the Skyway and the rest of the ride was just through the City). There aren't any pictures from this year on the site yet(as of writing this up), but if they do post pictures I found a gallery so look for a Fruit Loops jersey. That's me.
