Pastori at the destination.

Pastori and Wife headed down south to visit the newest addition to the family. Because the drive was so long, they decided to stay at the Aapiskukko-hotel and because the journey was still long, they took someone else with them, namely their daughter (Translator's note: That's me!). Unfortunately it looked like the nearest hashpoint was only 23 km away so they absolutely had to try and reach it. A rare summer storm was washing over the whole country and rain followed the travellers. But as they neared the point the weather miraculously cleared up and the sun even came out for a bit as they neared the cape of the lake Vanajavesi. 300 m before the point they came to a fork in the road and as it so happened that Pastori's smartphone refused to co-operate and the point would have remained unreached if it hadn't been for their daughter's even smarter phone. So, after driving for 555 km from home Pastori rushed into the dry grove amongst countless lilies of the valley and managed to reach the point at an accuracy of 0.2 m. Tenacity paid off once again. And then off they went again quickly to meet their son's tiny little girl. Such a wondrous creature. Well worth the trip.
