A few weeks ago I started volunteering for the Slow Roll Buffalo rides which require us to ride the route before the official ride on Monday so we are familiar with it. I decided to do a practice ride today and the group wasn't meeting until 19:15. That gave me just enough time to drive to the hash and then to Martin Luther King park in Buffalo.
Getting to the hash, I pulled over as much as I could as there wasn't much shoulder on the road. Fortunately I was able to reach across to the passenger side and register a close reading. I saw under 5 feet to go, but it jumped up a bit when I took the picture.
Getting my proof, I drove into the city where I was a little early, but that gave me time to ride around the park. By 19:30 all 11 of us were there and we rode the route that took us through the East Side. It looks like a nice ride for Monday.
