Pastori and Wife are on the move again, this time in the lake filled Central Finland hunting the abundant hashpoints. Today there seemed to be two points in unconquered graticules approximately equal distance away from their lodgings, 27 km and 30 km as the crow flies.

There he goes.

So, at 8:30 am Pastori and Wife took their Yaris and headed towards the points. In the crisp autumnal +7 degrees Celsius weather the journey took no time at all and soon they were near the first hashpoint. Referring to a map they drove down a forest road for roughly 200 m and exited the car. From there the point was about 300 m away on foot. At first the forest looked impenetrable with its mess of fir tress all around but with Pastori's impeccable sense of direction and modern devices they managed to push through and soon the forest turned into a more pleasant moss covered pine forest. Among the pines there were some firs around as well and near those Pastori managed to dance his way into an accuracy of 0.665 m. After a joyful joint portrait Pastori was only unhappy about how many mushrooms had already been lost to nightly frost.

So, off they speeded towards the next point.
