I was near here on the hashday, headed home, but after I noticed it was near by, I made a somewhat half-hearted attempt to get there, since it was clearly in the river.
I had no luck getting close to the nearest shore on the Oregon side, and gave up. I then headed home, and clearly forgot about updating my report until now.
Today, August 4th, I was in the area again, and figured I try in a different direction, but to no avail again. This time I ran into the gates of the nearby Ethanol plant.
