Plans

It's not clear from the Google Map whether this will be accessible. It shows a construction site surrounded by a fence; the hashpoint is a few meters inside the fence on the south side of the construction area. I plan to park in the KCTC lot and try to approach from the south or southeast.

I'll be there at 4 pm on the off chance any West Michigan geohashers are looking for a meetup. I'd be happy to adjourn to Twisted Rooster, just east, for a beer afterwards.

Expedition

The construction site that appeared on the satmap is now a completed apartment complex, with people moving in. The former construction-perimeter fence that looked like a possible barrier has been removed, and a new fence has been installed closer to the buildings at the edge of their parking lot. This new fence apparently passes right through the hashpoint, and was easily accessible from either side.

I took pictures, then waited in the car a few minutes until 4 pm, but saw no other geohashers. Checking the temperature record from the Washtenaw Circle station, KMIGRAMD157, I find that the expedition gets a Frozen Geohash achievement. It certainly felt cold enough.
