Very conveniently placed in a narrow park amidst residential areas, and only a kilometre from Norderstedt Mitte station. Unfortunately probably can't make it for meetup time, more likely around 5-6 pm. Maybe MikroKosmos is coming too?

Update: Due to a delayed meeting and because I want to watch the results of the state elections, I will be going around midday instead.

I nearly missed this one, because I'm used to check the coordinates of 53|10. That position was far away today. But in the afternoon I recognized the 42.xxx and 58.xxx to be my usual territory. In effect today 53|9 was really nearby, in my hometown. :-)

So I grabbed the equipment, took my bike and rode through Norderstedt. The direction against the strong wind was the right one, as usual. :-) At the location, amidst some playgrounds, I soon found some crossed sticks on the lawn, which marked today's hash-position. (Greetings to π π π).

After rechecking the position and taking photos, I cycled back home.

I had planned to take the train, but I when I told my mother about the hash, she wanted to accompany me and insisted on taking her new electric car, so I relented. We drove 10 km and parked near the Astrid-Lindgren-Park, then walked the last 150 m to the hashpoint, past the sports grounds of a primary school. It lay on grass just 9 m from the main path through the park, which is basically one big long playground with numerous stations and equipment. Four different play structures were visible from the coordinates. What a lucky location, amid all the houses and gardens of Norderstedt Mitte!

I took photos, and we walked south through the park for a while, wondering about its emptiness and trying out a slide, a climbing wall, a revolving ring, and some swings on the playgrounds. I found a squirrel in a tree and filmed it from an elevated location, only a few metres away. When we walked back through the park to the car, many children were playing, who all had to have arrived in the last few minutes. We drove home and arrived just in time for my meeting. A very enjoyable expedition!
