Expedition
As for geohashing, december has been a bad month for me and I was afraid of not even finding at least one hash this month! Sure, some hashes were actually in my homezone, but all of them were right on the middle of fields and thus not reachable... So I got quite excited to find out about todays coordinates, the way I like them: in the middle of a forest!
As planned I drove to Waldkappel and parked my car at a dead end road and walked the way through the forest to get near the hash. The weather was excellent, quite dense and foggy, creating an atmosphere I really like! On the last 100 meters I had to go straight into the woods - and at the hash location I had to do a serious hash-dance, since the coords were jumping around like hell... But, with patience, I managed to locate the hash quite accurately and took some pics for proof! Now I am a lucky man, having at least one hash in this month - maybe I'll have some luck on the last two days of the year as well - let's see...
