We had planned to meet at the central train station, but the 14:40 train was cancelled (must have been due to Zeynep-related damage), so DLichti and I agreed to go an hour later. Before Deneko and I boarded the tram, I made sure that the 15:40 train had not been cancelled. By the time we got there, it had been cancelled though. Deneko and I still went to the platform and met DLichti, I introduced him and Deneko to each other. We agreed that it was better to have the train to Isernhagen cancelled than the train from Isernhagen back home.

Fippe warned me this morning about the cancellation of our original train. But since the next one was not flagged as cancellation until noon, we agreed to take that one. I took the tram into town and arrived at the main station at around 15:20. After checking the train on the departure board, I went up to the track and notified Fippe. Alas, a few moments later, our train was cancelled.
I checked for travel alternatives while waiting for Fippe, but it would have taken much longer, and we preferred not to get stuck out in the countryside due to even more cancellations. So, after meeting Fippe and Deneko, we decided to call it a day and head home again. As a substitution, I took a detour through a residential area near my place for some OSM mapping.
