I took the train to Wesseln and walked the rest of the distance. It was allowed to use the last part of the path at one's own risk, and if the coordinates had been a few meters further, they would have been on company property. But I was lucky, and could locate them right next to the path.
Afterwards I walked back to Wesseln. My train to Hildesheim had been cancelled and replaced by a bus. The bus driver told me he was going in the opposite direction, to Bodenburg, and then return to Hildesheim, and that I could already come in. I should have just waited in Wesseln for him to return on his way back, but without thinking, I entered the bus. I could have been waiting outside, surrounded by fresh air! After we went to Bodenburg, we returned to Wesseln and finally arrived in Hildesheim. From there, I could take the train back to Hannover.
