When the hashpoints were posted for the weekend, I was hoping I would be able to ride my bike to the hash, but it's been a rough week and I knew there was a good chance I wouldn't be able to do that. My girlfriend's dad passed away last week so there's been a lot of things she needs to take care of and I've been helping her out and just being there for her. Through the week, she was spending the night at my place because it was closer to where her father lived, but Friday after the funeral, she needed to go home for more clothes and to just take a break so we spent the night there. In the morning, we went to brunch with her mother, along with an Aunt that was in town and then just had a lazy day. Ended up hanging out until 16:00 when her aunt stopped by on the way to the Airport and I headed back to my place after they left. It was too late for an Official Saturday Meetup, but I figured since I would be going right by there anyway, it was dumb not to stop.

Getting to Lackawanna, I ended up missing my turn and had to go up another street and double back toward the park. Once there, I parked next to a gate on the other side from the Hash since it didn't look like there were any access points on that side of the fence. Leaving the dogs in the car, I walked across the park to the corner by the hash. There were a bunch of people playing basketball and hanging out under a large temporary tent, probably for a Labor Day cookout. Closing in on the hash, I was able to get a good reading without doing a GPS dance on the HashDroid App and got some pics of the area. I then headed back to the car and for home. A mostly uneventful expedition.

J then met me at my place to again spend the night before we headed back to the apartment the next day to continue cleaning up and moving stuff out.
