Baarde plans to run there before work. He would like to get the Sunrise geohash achievement, but will he manage to wake up early enough?
Expedition
Yes, I did. I woke up at 05:40, ate a yogurt, and left home. I walked a couple hundred meters then started running toward Kintzheim. I arrived to the coordinates 20 minutes later. The horizon was obscured by clouds so I couldn't get a photo of the first rays of sun. I recorded proof as usual and waited at the geohash until 06:24, which according to my weather app was the time of sunrise.
As I had stopped exactly on the coordinates without leaving the path, rather than turning back, I continued toward Kintzheim and made a detour to return to Sélestat by a different path, so I could claim the Tron achievement. The run was 3.5 km to the coordinates then 5 km back home (I walked the last 2 km).
