In the afternoon, I took the train from Osnabrück Central via Münster to Rheine-Mesum. The stop in Münster was necessary since they seem to be doing construction work on the direct link between Osnabrück and Rheine. There are replacement busses, but I doubt I'd be able to get my bike in there, besides the busses were taking almost as long as the train via Münster.

From the Mesum station, I cycled west towards Bilk. It was very sunny and I was glad I took some water with me. In Bilk, I located the coordinates right next to the street and recorded proof.

On the way back, I cycled to Rheine Central via a beautiful bike-only path that led almost directly to the station - not coincidentally, the route used to be a railroad. From there, I took the train back via Münster to Osnabrück Central and cycled back home.
