After camping with the family and spending a rainy week in the Adirondacks, we stopped in the Finger Lakes for an extra night to spend some time with a friend having a milestone-birthday. Despite the on-and-off rain throughout the week, we had fun tent camping, paddling in the canoe, playing games, eating junk food and cooking some good meals. At my friend's rental in the Finger Lakes, we enjoyed some good beers, and playing games/puzzles too.

It was on the way home from the Finger Lakes where I saw we had an opportunity to go just a little bit 'backwards' and get a hash before heading for the luxury of our own bed. J, despite being tired from all the traveling and camping, agreed to allow the 60 min detour for a quick adventure before we were truly on our way home. Putting the hash into the phone GPS, it was an easy drive to the hash and we found it with no problems.

It was raining lightly though and J decided to stay in the car while I jumped out to try to get a good reading. I initially thought it was on the edge of the woods next to the driveway, but I was still thinking it would be before the big posted sign where the trees started. Instead, the Hashdroid app directed me more to the middle of the driveway where I was able to get a reading under a foot away (< 0.3 meters)! Quickly taking a couple pictures of the area, I hopped back in the car to head for home where the rest of the drive was unremarkable.
